Our journey began just over 9 months ago as God placed the burden on our hearts once again to bring another child into the Ivey Family. Many prayerful petitions were said, we struggled with all the why's and why nots. In the end, we surrendered to the Lord and asked him to make His will known in all areas of our life. Soon, he made it very clear that we had a son waiting for us over 7,500 miles away in Wuhan, Hubei Province, People's Republic of China. Yes, we are adopting again and we can't wait to meet our little guy- Wu Bi Xi- soon to be called Joshua James Ivey! You see God is so much bigger than we can imagine and truly sees down the corridors of time. He placed our little guy on a special needs yahoo group for waiting children at just the precise time that I joined the group. How can one resist this face! It is no coincidence that he has a nevus (congenital birthmark) like our sweet Joy or that he is cutie pootie. God has given us the resources, energy, a terrific surgeon and the honor of adding another of His children to our family. We will be there soon Joshua!
